Raising Money for the Red Cross

On the last week of school Tunisia and Hannah M wrote a letter to Mrs Gulbransen asking if they could have a mufti day at school. The money was to raise awareness about the people of Christchurch who had just experienced the terrible earthquake recently. The girls raised over $400.00 towards the Red Cross funds. Well done girls for thinking of others and for running the coin trail at school.

What have we been up to lately?

Home School Partnership

Home School Partnership Evening - Celebrating our achievements and E Learning.
What a wonderful and busy day. After school we had a Maori Culture practice from 3 - 5 and then we shared our Red Square performance.
After that some tamariki stayed on for the Home School Partnership evening. While the children had tea cooked by Mr Power some children were involved in sharing their achievements with the Maori Community.
  • Lauren gave an amazing performance of her speech.
  • Manu and Frano shared what they had been doing with Nayland kindy.
  • Zac shared some information about Knowledge NET.
  • Meihana and Bailey shared some of the things that have been learning in Room 2. They showed parents how they have been learning about Green Screen and how it linked into their topic work.

Kei te pai everyone for a great day!!!!
